Shell Continues Expansion Program In India - Minaean Receives Additional Purchase Order For Construction Of Gas Station Retail Outlets

Vancouver, BC, Canada – February 10, 2009 – Minaean International Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange: MIB; Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges: NJA) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Minaean Habitat (India) Pvt. Ltd. (MHI), has secured purchase orders for the supply and installation of 9 more gas station retail outlets from Shell India Marketing Pvt. Ltd. This latest order comes as a result of Shell resuming its expansion plans within the Indian Territory. MHI has previously supplied 60 such units to Shell as part of an ongoing contract.
The modular retail outlets will be manufactured and prefabricated in MHI’s Mumbai facility dedicated to Modular Buildings, after which they will be transported and installed at various sites within the Indian states of Karnataka and Maharashtra. MHI will generate revenue of $577,000 CAD from this order.
Shell remains a valuable customer of MHI with the Company having received its first order from Shell back in 2006. Since then, MHI has supplied a number of such modular retail outlets to Shell which serve as convenience stores at the gas stations. MHI was the recipient of the ‘Shell Safety Award’ in late 2007 demonstrating the Company’s total quality and safety commitment to its customers. In April, 2008 it received another award from Shell for 500,000 injury free work hours.
Following a 12 month break in its expansion plans, the oil giant now intends to resume its growth objectives by setting up more and more gas stations throughout India. MHI remains a primary supplier for such modular retail outlets in the Indian market.
