Minaean Habitat (India) Pvt. Ltd. Expands Operations In Mumbai, India

Vancouver, BC, Canada –December 8, 2008 – Minaean International Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange: MIB; Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges: NJA) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Minaean Habitat (India) Pvt. Ltd. (MHI), has expanded its operations in the city of Mumbai with the lease of a second manufacturing facility and a move to larger office premises.

With the growing business of MHI, the Company has now strategically diversified into two business verticals. “Modular Buildings” has represented the primary product portfolio since MHI was established and remains an essential business vertical for the Company. The Modular Buildings division comprises prefabrication and on-site installation of various modular structures including ATM Kiosks, Retail Outlets, Gas Stations, Modular Cabins, Modular Washrooms, Site Offices and Residential Buildings. Subsequently, the other and newly formed business vertical is the “Out-of-Home” division which concentrates on the prefabrication and installation of street furniture, primarily Bus Queue Shelters, with a vision to add other products to this portfolio in the short term.

This move underlines the pro-active approach of the Company to strategically map its organization structure in view of ever growing demand. The decision to expand comes as a direct consequence of various contracts in hand and immediate growth prospects.

MHI has now successfully expanded its Mumbai manufacturing operations to two different locations. The first unit (L80) measures at 30,140 sq. ft. and is dedicated to the manufacturing and fabrication of Modular Buildings. The second manufacturing unit (L119) measures at 72,440 sq. ft. and is dedicated to the manufacturing and fabrication of street furniture. MHI also has a production plant in Bangalore for the manufacturing of Modular Buildings. The Company has also shifted offices in Mumbai moving into a 3,000 sq. ft. office which provides a highly work friendly environment and further improves accessibility to and from the workplace in a congested metropolitan like Mumbai.
