Vancouver, BC, Canada – September 17, 2008 – Minaean International Corp. (TSX V: MIB; Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges: NJA) is pleased to announce that it has signed a contract  with Yorke & Curtis, the general contractors of the project “Shaver Green LP” to be constructed in Portland, Oregon. The contract is for the construction of the superstructure of a six storey affordable housing building. The “Shaver Green” project consists of five townhouse units, 80 apartment units, a community center and 32 parking stalls and will be constructed using the Artisan Quik-Build System, a combination of Minaean’s structural wall panels pre-engineered and panelized in the factory and Canam’s “Hambro” flooring system.

The contract for the project, valued at US $1,975,925, was recently signed and construction has already begun on site in preparation to receive first delivery from Minaean. Minaean will begin supply and installation of the 2nd level Transfer Slab next week and construction is expected to continue for 6 months.

Yorke & Curtis are one of the most well known and respected general contractors in Oregon and have successfully completed many projects throughout the state. They have been involved in over 30 projects ranging from office and retail buildings to high density and assisted living housing and sports facilities.  Their philosophy of “providing superior construction services with a serious commitment to individual clients” has been evident in each of their past projects. This will be the first project that Minaean and Yorke & Curtis will be working on together and Minaean anticipates that this will build a long standing relationship between the 2 parties.
