Vancouver, BC, Canada – August 6, 2008 – Minaean International Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange: MIB; Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges: NJA) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Minaean Habitat (India) Pvt. Ltd. (MHI), has been awarded a contract for the supply of 100 Bus Queue Shelters (BQS) in Bangalore, India by the Bangalore Public Transport Authorities through one of the largest Indian media and entertainment advertising companies.

The successful execution of a contract for a prototype Bus Queue Shelter in Bangalore in April 2008 led to the procurement of this contract for fabrication and installation of 100 Bus Queue Shelters by MHI. The total value of the contract commencing on August 1st, 2008 is US$780,000 and has to be executed within a timeframe of 60 days. The successful manufacture and installation of the Bus Queue Shelters under this contract will likely lead to a second order for around the same volume. MHI expects a major revenue growth from this segment of the market during the current financial year and plans an aggressive resource deployment strategy towards supporting clients’ expansion needs.

A fast growing metropolis, the garden city of Bangalore is the capital of the southern Indian state of Karnataka. The city is undergoing a major revamp in its public transit system. The Bangalore Transit System has the largest fleet of buses and is the premier public transport service provider in Bangalore. It has more than 2,300 bus shelters with 31 minor bus stations for communities within the Bangalore city limits and has announced plans for replacing about 500 units within the next 12 months.

For Bus Queue Shelters, certain prominent names like Times Media Group, JC Decaux, Prachaar Communications, Stroer India, Jindal Group, Prakash Arts and Adlabs Films Ltd. have begun the bidding process for the major metropolitans such as Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Chandigarh and Ahmedabad for the execution of contracts in next 12 months. MHI is actively associated and executing orders for most of these industrial leaders in various market/product segments.

The contract for BQS will be executed in modular sections, pre-fabricated in Minaean’s manufacturing facility, shipped to site and installed. MHI has production plants located in the cities of Bangalore and Mumbai for the manufacture of Modular Buildings, Modular Cabins, ATM Units and Bus Queue Shelters.
