Minaean Secures Engineering Contract For 6 Storey Construction In Portland, OR.

Vancouver, BC, Canada, Wednesday, November 4, 2009 – Minaean International Corp. (TSX Venture Exchange: MIB; Berlin and Frankfurt Stock Exchanges: NJA) is pleased to announce that its U.S. subsidiary, Minaean Power Structures Inc. (“MPS”), has secured an engineering contract to create structural designs for a proposed six-storey condominium housing complex in Portland, Oregon. MPS has successfully executed five projects in the state of Oregon providing design and engineering, followed by the supply and installation of structural wall panels and flooring system.

The engineering contract is the first step towards a potential US$ 1.60 million contract for the production, supply and installation of structural walls and floors for the multi-storey project.  Minaean’s proprietary Artisan Quik Build™ construction system manufactures light-gauge-steel structural wall panels which, combined with the Hambro® steel joist floor decking system, can erect a steel superstructure for a 4 to 8 storey building within weeks. Artisan Quik Build is characterized by various highly preferential qualities indluding a ‘green’ building system and much lower-than-average manufacturing costs for the developer. Its robust structure provides sustainability, high sound and fire ratings, comparatively very short building time and minimal on-site waste which is also 100% recyclable.

Mervyn Pinto, President and CEO of Minaean International Corp., said, “We are very pleased to work on building our sixth project in Portland.  With the housing industry in America showing signs of stable recovery, this contract marks the first of several such potential agreements on the horizon for Minaean.  In the near-term, we also plan to expand our operations into the State of Washington.”
