Minaean International Corporation (MIC) is a Canadian company focused on the development and promotion of innovative quick build light gauge steel (LGS) technologies for the construction of cost effective and environmentally friendly structures. MIC is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and currently operates two wholly owned subsidiaries: Minaean Habitat India (PVT) Ltd. (MHI) for Indian operations; Minaean Building Structures Inc. (MBS) for North American operations.

Minaean is a public company with common shares traded on the Canadian TSX Venture Exchange (TSX VE) under the stock symbol "MIB", as well as the Berlin and Deutsche Börse AG (Frankfurt) Stock Exchanges under the stock symbol "NJA".

Manufacturing and assembly operations in India are conducted through the company’s two production plants, one a 35,000 sq. ft. facility at Taloja, Mumbai and the second a 20,000 sq. ft. facility in Kingeri, Bangalore. The company has a trained management team and skilled workforce exceeding 140 personnel.

North American operations, managed by Minaean Building Structures are currently outsourced and coordinated by a management staff of 6 personnel. MBS has been profitable since 2007 and has expanded its operations from Oregon to Washington and presently in to British Columbia, Canada.

MIC has developed the unique Light Gauge Steel (LGS) continuous load bearing wall panel system (patent pending) trademarked "Vesta Quik-Build™ “. This recyclable, quick build system is well suited for the huge demand in developing countries. We also offer a generic steel stud frame construction system, trademarked "Artisan Quik-Build™ “. The market entry of these products in India was supported by “Tata Steel” through a strategic alliance partnership.

Minaean’s latest Modular Quik-Build™ System incorporates a combination of generic steel framing methods and unique modular load bearing roll formed Light Gauge Steel (LGS) studs, along with other components to form the floor, roof and the walls of the building. The fully finished building is prefabricated in the factory environment and the finished building is transported to site in modules.

A Prototype for a Modular retail gas station building was prefabricated and installed within 30 days, laying the foundation for a long term contract with “Shell Marketing Pvt. Ltd.”, the Indian subsidiary of oil giant “Shell Petroleum”.

The Future

INDIA: Applications for Minaean's unique light gauge steel technologies are virtually limitless. A major challenge for every company to be successful is its infrastructure. Minaean has set up a full fledged infrastructure with large production facilities and trained staff in India. The Indian govt. has a mandate to provide 26 million homes to the economically weaker section (EWS) of the society.
The govt. has declared to construct 35 more 2^nd tier and 3^rd tier cities over the next 20 years to divert the mass migration from the 1^st. tier metros. The need for fast, new technology construction is phenomenal.
The country’s fast growing 350 million middle class population is now aspiring to own their houses, apartments and other comforts, increasing demand for quality homes and high rises.
The present real estate development exceeds 550 million sq feet and is rising.
India has a 3.30 million kilometer road network which is considered to be the 2^nd largest in the world, according to the National Highways Authorities of India. The requirement of over 15,000 gas stations creates a need for modular retail buildings.
The transport authorities all over the country, starting with the major cities, have announced tenders to refurbish / reconstruct the Bus Queue Shelters on a BOT (Build Operate Transfer) basis. 30,000 Bus Queue Shelters will be reconstructed over the next 2 years.
All major banks have been advised to provide ATM facilities. State Bank of India’s ATM requirements all over the country at present are exceeding 8000.

Minaean is initiating production of Modular ATM Buildings to satisfy contracts with Canara Bank and ICICI. The company is also negotiating with SBI to build their ATM facilities.

Minaean’s Bus Queue Shelter (BQS) contract with the Times Media group is another success story. The boom in the ‘Out Of Home’ (OOH) advertising business is allowing Minaean to expand from providing the structural, back end support in BQS business to front end support by also providing LED lighting panels.

The company is bidding on major industrial campsite projects in India and the middle east. Our expertise in the modular building and portable cabin business is expected to assist the company in exceeding current forecasts.

NORTH AMERICA: Minaean’s construction systems are in immense demand. Our completed multi-story building projects in Oregon, USA are drawing great interest from Builders and Investors looking for an environmentally friendly, cost-effective, quick-build system.

The major benefit of using the Artisan Quik-Build™ System is the drastic reduction in construction time. The saving in time is saving in capital. Using Steel rather than wood provides savings in Insurance premiums, maintenance costs and claims due to call backs. The company is currently seeking certification for “Green Building Systems” by using recycled steel and other reusable products. The new project in the state of Oregon, USA “Shaver Green” has been termed as a Green Building Project with the ambition of achieving LEED Gold Certification upon completion.
